Renewal Firearm Permit Application
Complete this application if you COMPLETED ALL of your required Semi-Yearly Firearm qualifications. Every licensed Armed Security Guard is required to complete TWO firearm requalifications within 1 year, not before 4 months of the last requalification and not after 6 months of your last requalification.

Once your name appears under the Bureau of Security Investigative Services division and it says you are current, then you may print out a copy of the license information and begin working as a security guard or begin carrying a firearm.
Click on this link to create an account with PSI Exams. After creating your account, select the Psychological Assessmehttps://search.dca.ca.gov/nt Exam and then chose your date/time. The fee will be $60.00 which need to be paid immediately.
